China. We are
focusing on adventure trips and try to open a new climbing area to climbers
all around the world.
China is a land of mysteries – not many climbers from
abroad have come here so far. In fact, it offers you many possibilities for sport, ice and alpine climbing with different difficulties and on best quality granite –
in the Shandong Province where we are situated are 4 big mountains (the holy Mountain Lao, Fu Shan, Yi Shan and the holy mountain
Tai).
Two of them (Lao Shan and Fu Shan) are located
directly next to Qingdao, one of the most famous
bathing towns of China. On Qingdao's beautiful sand beaches you can also find a lot of blocks for bouldering beneath the sea.
Climbing in Qingdao
is a quite novel activity; the big advantage is that the mountain sides are far from being overcrowded. The 1st climbing club in Qingdao – and in fact the
club we cooperate with – has just opened in 2000. Thus, there are also a lot of routes waiting to be explored by experienced climbers. Beginner as well as professionals will
enjoy a top quality service thanks to our foreign
and Chinese team after their arrival.
On Qingdao’s
40 km² mountain area, you will find almost 150 bolted routes and much more spots where you can boulder or
build new routes yourself. You will have the opportunity to choose from easy to difficult routes
(the easiest ones are around 5.8 whilet the hardest one currently is 5.12c). As mentioned above you
will also be able to boulder next to the sand beach as the number 2 bathing beach
in Qingdao
(Badaguan) has a huge bouldering rock.
